Offered for kids ages 11-12, 12U Fast Pitch delivers a competitive but fun environment for players. By now, players continue to refine fundamentals as they transition away from the 10U environment and into the application process, applying what they've learned from the lower divisions into practice and game environments.

At the 12U level, the game environment becomes more real, as several rules changes take effect. Stealing has become a factor as players are allowed to steal any base, including home, and leading can take affect after the pitcher releases the ball, rather than waiting for it to cross the plate as they experienced in 10U. This sets the stage for a much more competitive and dynamic game, and adds an element of fun and thrill to the game.

Another major rule change is the removal of coach-pitch. This is the players first experience with full live player pitching, where walks and hit-by-pitch (HBP) all award the base. Players are fully engaged without assistance at this level, and is the first true "real softball" experience that they will see.
